The Coyolxauhqui stone. The Aztec creation legend tells that Coyolxauhqui, the moon goddess, was killed by her brother Huitzilopochtli. This huge stone disk, found in the Templo Mayor, shows her dismembered body. Museo del Templo Mayor Mexico City.
