Chucuito, Inca Ullu phallic stones

Peru, Chucuito. The recent village with its 17th century Jesuit church is built on the site of an ancient settlement beside Lake Titicaca. This Inca walled enclosure was restored in 1970/72 and the shaped stones and giant phalli thought to be pre Inca were arranged in rows.
