Cuzco Peru. A mural of the Inca conquest depicts the collection of the gold ransom demanded by the Spaniards to save Emperor Atahualpa. The gold disk represents Inti, the Inca's sun god and symbolises the golden disc the punchao - or p'unchau -stolen from the Temple of the Sun by the Spaniards.
