Lake Titicaca 3812m (12.507 ft) high in the Andes mountains, is on the border of Peru and Bolivia. The Island of the Sun (Isla del Sol) lies in the Bolivian sector and is the legendary site of the Inca creation. Typical Inca trapezoidal niches in the Temple of the Sun at Pilocaina.
