The remains of a unicorn figure at the base of the bowsprit on the port side. The bowsprit broke off while the ship was in Sparrow Cove and was recovered in 1969. A part of the crest originally mounted beneath the bowsprit was found on a beach and later preserved in the Falkland Islands' museum.
