The Salvage of the SS Great Britain
Falkland Islands 1969 - 1970

The mizzen mast was the first to be taken down. It broke as it was being removed and crashed into the deckhouse. It was then lowered onto the main deck and today is part of a monument to the salvage in Stanley.
