The Great Britain in Sparrow Cove in 1969. Her masts were some of the largest ever made for a sailing ship, each weighing about 20 tons, about 95 feet high and with a diameter of nearly four feet. These are the lower masts, the top masts and spars were removed soon after her arrival in Stanley harbour in 1886.
