Bolivia.   Cleared Chaco forest with stands of trees left to protect Mennonite farmland, Izozog region. This is the extreme south of the Amazon region in the Department of Santa Cruz.  Much of the land is still forested though this type of clearance with bands of trees to act as wind breaks against erosion has been adopted by many farmers.
