Bolivia.  The red coloured lake of the Laguna Colorada 4278m is in the extreme southwest of Bolivia. It is set in the volcanic western cordillera and is famous for its colour formed by minute algae which survive in the salt laden water. Fresh water springs at the edge provide patches of blue.
