Brazil: Amazonas state, Rio Negro. An igapó or flooded forest in the Archipelago of the Anavilhanas / Arquipélago das Anivilhanas. The archipelago is made up of about four hundred small islands many of which are covered when the water is high. It is the worlds' largest fluvial archipelago.
