Brazil: São Paulo. Protestant Evangelical faiths have become established across much of Latin America often with support from churches in the the USA. In São Paulo some estimates reckon that as much as fifty percent of the population are now committed followers. This huge Pentecostal church in the heart of the city was opened in 2004 following over forty years of work by a missionary founder.
