Chile: President Eduardo Frei Montalva outside the presidential palace, the Palacio de la Moneda in Santiago in 1968. The horse drawn open carriage is accompanied by ceremonial guards.  Born in 1911, Eduardo Frei was leader of the Christian Democratic Party of Chile, and president from 1964 to 1970. He died in 1982.
