Suriname. One of the finest wooden colonial buildings in Paramaribo. It is on Mr Lim A Postraat (street) and is part of the inner city recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Fires in 1821 and 1831 destroyed many colonial buidlings and most have been built in the 19th and 20th centuries.
