Margaret did not carry a camera on this journey and relied totally on her sketches
to make vignettes of the forest or people by the riverside. On previous journeys
she made many notes and some written anecdotal observations that eventually became
her 'diaries' |

Mee 1909 - 1988 was an artist who painted many tropical flowers in Brazil and
